We were featured at Toronto Star
Our little flower project has found its way into The Toronto Star. πΈ
What began in 2015 as a quiet blog about a few flower deliveries has slowly flourished into something far more meaningful β a simple act of sharing beauty with a handwritten calligraphy tag at a time.
Iβve tried my best over the years to document each trip at nestingfinds.blogspot.com, always believing that simple stories are worth keeping. Being featured in the newspaper feels like an unexpected gift, and I am deeply grateful. β¨
In the early days, we purchased blooms ourselves, arranged them gently into mason jars, and delivered them to seniorsβ homes to brighten their day. Each jar carried a small tag with a gentle word written in calligraphy β a tiny touch of care that whispered, you are remembered, you are seen. Those handwritten notes became our heartbeat, transforming flowers into messages of warmth and kindness.
Over time, this little idea was embraced by many kind hearts β flower farmers, event planners, and generous newlyweds who chose to repurpose their exquisite wedding florals, giving them a graceful second life. These arrangements, once celebrated, now continue their beauty in the hands of those who least expect it. ππ
None of this has grown on its own. It truly takes a village of gentleness, trust, and shared hope. Iβm thankful for every person who believed that flowers and handwriting could carry something meaningful.
From our pens, petals, and full hearts β thank you.
May beauty always find new ways to be shared. π·ποΈπ
